Zovoo isn’t new to the disposable world and have released quite a few vapes over the years, to cater to the vast majority of vapers who enjoy these types of products. One of their most popular vape bars was one of their originals, the Dragbar B5000, which delivered in performance, value and overall vape experience.
Zovoo is back yet again with a new version of the B5000, the Cosmic Edition. This new model offers a similar experience and design, but offers some key differences, one of them being the flavor options. While standard flavors are great, the B5000 Cosmic Edition by Zovoo is bringing you a new set of mixed flavors. The big question is does the Cosmic Edition hold up against the original? Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition Disposable First Impressions
Unboxing and first impressions of the Zovoo Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition is similar to their original vape bar, which is a good thing. The packaging is great and provides all the information you need to know right on the outside of the box. It is different though when comparing it to their slimmer Z700 SE Disposable Vape, but it’s expected as this is larger, but also rechargeable.
Once you open up the box, you’re immediately met with the Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition. They each look amazing, and offer a different exterior design depending on the flavor that’s been pre-filled. Speaking of, each vape bar comes packed with 13ml of vape juice! That’s plenty and can certainly last a week or two depending on how much you’re vaping it. Overall, the design is pretty similar to the original as well, but again, that’s a good thing to us, since we were pleased with this specific design.
The Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition is compact and fits in your palms nicely. The crystal mouthpiece is back, which means vaping on this is very comfortable and perfect for mouth to lung vaping. The only thing we wished they changed was the location of the type-c changing port. While it’s great that it is rechargeable, giving you more value per vape bar, it’s on the bottom. It isn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but you do have to lay it flat or on its side to charge it. Charging doesn’t take long, though, which is good!
All in all, there’s nothing to complain about whatsoever with the first impressions of the Cosmic Edition Zovoo Dragbar B5000. It sports a wonderful design that’s eye appealing and sized perfectly for on the go vaping.
Zovoo Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition Flavor Review
Even though a product’s design may be excellent, it doesn’t always translate into a good vaping experience. The most important part here, especially for disposable vape bars, is how do they actually taste. Now, before jumping into the Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition flavor review, we do have to note flavor is subjective. With that out of the way, let’s jump right in!
Strawberry Kiwi
Strawberry Kiwi is a pretty popular flavor profile overall, and many vapers enjoy this, especially if done right. This new flavor in this lineup of vape bars also speaks to their new mixed flavors, as this is certainly a mixture of two tasty fruit flavors.
Strawberry kiwi tastes exactly as you would imagine, and it’s absolutely delicious. This is done right by Zovoo and delivers a refreshing and sweet vape. On the inhale, you’ll get mostly a strawberry note that does have a natural taste. When you exhale is when you’ll get the two flavors combined, forming a wonderful combination of two natural tasting fruits. Neither overpowers one another, and you can individually taste both. At first, you may notice the strawberry with the kiwi kicking in right away, just after exhaling.
There is a bit of cooling here, but it’s not bad, nor does it take away from the vape of Strawberry Kiwi. In our opinion, it does compliment it, especially if you enjoy a slightly subtle cooling effect. Sweetness level is about a medium here as well, not too sweet, but good enough to satisfy.
All in all, this is an excellent flavor that’s been crafted exceptionally well. No medicine or off taste here, just a natural sweet fruit flavor. If that’s something you’re into, definitely check this one out.
Raspberry Lemon
Any disposable or vape juice that has lemon can be a hit or miss, and if you’ve been vaping for some time, then you know not all lemon flavors are good. The same can be said for raspberry. However, mixing the two flavor notes can certainly bring forth something tasty, and this is exactly the case with Zovoo Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition Raspberry Lemon.
On the both the inhale and exhale, you’ll get the same mixture of raspberry lemon. On the inhale, the lemon does overpower the raspberry quite a bit, but on the exhale, you’ll taste both equally. Both flavors combined does taste almost like a beverage and can resemble a lemonade drink. With that said, it’s very taste and a bit on the sweeter side. There is a cooling effect here too, just like the last, and is a bit stronger. We didn’t mind, as it does make it so that it replicates the beverage even more. However, we can see some vapers not enjoying it as much.
This is an absolutely amazing flavor and easily an all day vape. It’s sweeter, blended incredibly well, especially considering the two flavor notes, and smooth. If you enjoy beverage or lemonade flavors, then we highly recommend raspberry lemonade in Zovoo’s Cosmic Edition lineup. It’s a joy to vape, especially in the Spring or Summer months.
Root Beer
This specific flavor is quite unique not only in the Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition line of flavors, but overall too. You won’t find many disposable vape bars being offered in a root beer type flavor. While we’ll say this will certainly cater to select individuals who prefer the actual drink, it does provide a straightforward yet accurate vape experience.
We honestly thought we wouldn’t like this one at all, but after vaping it for some time, and giving it a chance, it’s a flavor that grows on you. It tastes exactly as the name suggests, a root beer. However, there is a creaminess, especially noticed on the exhale that gives it more of a root beer float flavor. There’s sweetness added too, alongside the cooling effect that provides the vaper with the accurate taste of root beer.
While we’ll say for sure, Root Beer is not for everyone, but it is tasty, and we do think it’ll be a great option for either those who enjoy the beverage or vapers who simply want something different from the rest. As mentioned earlier, you certainly won’t find this type of flavor with your everyday disposable vape.
Strawberry Banana
Sticking to the theme of mixed flavors in the Cosmic Edition Zovoo Dragbar B5000, Strawberry Banana is another solid option. It’s a flavor that, unlike the previous, you’ll find across many different brands. With that said, not all are equal in regard to how they taste, that’s for sure. On the inhale of this one, you do get a strawberry flavor first, with a faint hint of banana.
Once you proceed to exhale, is where you’ll taste the banana come through loud and clear. It doesn’t overpower the strawberry flavor, but matches it. This brings forth a tasty fruit flavor that is sweet and tastes natural. Like the others, there is a cooling effect, but it is more subtle, especially when comparing Strawberry Banana to the previous flavors. What’s interesting here is that the banana doesn’t taste too candy-like, which a lot of other similar flavors can provide. This, in our opinion, what separates this from the other brands.
While a straightforward flavor, Strawberry Banana is an easy all vape day. It’s sweet, smooth and tastes great, especially with both fruit notes tasting natural. Fans of this flavor profile will absolutely love this one in the Zovoo Dragbar B5000 Cosmic Edition lineup.
Conclusion – Worthy Follow-Up Vape Bar
The original Dragbar was great for many reasons, and one of them is the flavors that were offered. They simply taste good! The same can be said here for these new Cosmic Edition Dragbars. Zovoo certainly took all the good things while improving it with a new mesh coil to deliver an amazing disposable vape bar.
There’s nothing to really complain about here, as they’ll do the job for vapers. They come pre-filled with 13ml of e-liquid, has a 500mAh rechargeable battery, and compact, so you can certainly stealth vape if you wanted to. Another key feature is the nicotine strength options. While most disposables just come in 50mg or 5% nicotine, these are offered in both 20mg and 50mg.
All in all, these Zovoo disposables have our seal of approval and recommended for vapers in the market for vape bars that offer plenty of bang for the buck. While they’re not for everyone, they’ll certainly please many.
