As mentioned earlier, there are a lot of disposable vapes on the market, but there’s only a few that really stand out when it comes to not only performance and flavors, but how they look and feel in the hand. With that said, let’s kick off this review with the aesthetics.
Unique Design
Easily two of the more unique disposables on the market, the Freeton DV1 and DV2 delivers when it comes to the overall design. The DV1 is completely different from the competition with its vape pipe-like form factor. Although the DV2 can be considered a bit more standard, it features the world’s first reuleaux triangle design.
What this means is that it’s extremely comfortable in the hands. It’s completely smooth on all sides and contours to your hand perfectly. Seriously, it’s one of the most comfortable disposables I’ve ever used.
Although it packs a pretty massive 1,100mAh internal battery, the Freeton DV2 still remains compact. It’s easy to take out with you, and I personally prefer this form. You can slip this into your pocket, bag or purse with zero issues, and you’ll never have to worry about leaking since it never does!
Great Performance
Before jumping into flavors, let’s talk about performance. Often with many disposables, you’ll feel the power drop over time, especially towards the end of the battery cycle. One thing that’s offered with the Freeton disposables is high efficiency delivery.
With this technology, the DV1 and DV2 are able to deliver a consistent vape experience throughout the entire battery life. So with others you’ll definitely feel that power and warmth drop drastically, but not with these disposables. When it comes to the auto-draw system, it works perfectly, too. You won’t have to draw hard in order for it to work like with some others. This is a huge pro in my book.
Pure Tasty Flavor
Either option you go for, whether the Freeton DV1 or DV2, you’ve got 10 different flavors to choose from. Now, they do mention pure taste and optimal flavors, and I can tell you, they’re right. Each flavor option available is delicious and delivers an exceptional vape experience. However, something to keep in mind, like with many disposables, there is a cooling effect.
I enjoy this primarily with these vapes, but it’s worth mentioning. The cooling effect is not too strong in certain flavors nor overwhelming, so even if you didn’t enjoy this, I would still recommend giving them a shot. It’ll surprise you with how much you might like them!
Although there are 10 flavors, there are some that I favored most. Remember, taste is subjective! Now let’s quickly cover my favorites.
Cantaloupe Ice
By far my favorite out of the 10 flavors. As you’d expect with the name, there is that "ice" that comes through on the inhale and exhale. However, this flavor is spot on and tastes exactly like a sweet cantaloupe. I could easily vape this all day without getting tired of it.
Candy
Who doesn’t love a good candy-flavored disposable? Again, another one Freeton knocked out of the park. This tastes more like a blue-colored pixie stick and will certainly satisfy any vaper’s sweet tooth. Both on the inhale and exhale, you’ll get the same experience, and it delivers.
Mango Ice
A good mango can be hard to find, especially in disposables, but Freeton definitely did a great job with this one. It does have a cooling effect on both the inhale and exhale, but the mango truly shines. The cooling effect adds to the overall experience, but doesn’t mute the mango note you’ll get on both the inhale and exhale. If you enjoy mango flavors, this is for you.
Pineapple Ice
This one I didn’t expect to like as much as I do. It tastes pretty much like a cold piña colada. Like with the mango ice, the cooling effect does not mute the experience, and you’ll taste the pineapple come through nice and strong.
Overall, the flavors offered in both the DV2 and DV1 by Freeton are absolutely amazing. The flavors are true to their names and the quality is outstanding.
DV2 Disposable - A Step Above
While the unique looks of the DV1 is simply awesome, the DV2 is my personal favorite and for many reasons. For one, it offers a huge battery that’ll last you a long time before needing to open up a new disposable. That bigger battery is definitely needed, as you’ve got a huge 7 ml e-liquid capacity! You won’t see many disposables offering that much e-liquid. Next, you’ve got the rounded design, which is simply a step above the competition. If you’re tired of those disposables that are slim and deplete quickly, you’ll love the DV2.
The performance of the Freeton DV2 is also a cut above the rest. It delivers a warmer vape that is enjoyable and offers a consistent vape experience you won’t find with a lot of the others currently on the market. Even the mouthpiece is done well! It’s super comfortable when vaping. Overall, the Freeton DV2 is one of those disposables that simply deliver in every way. It’s got the performance, looks and comfort. You can’t ask for much more.
Conclusion - Simply Outstanding Disposables
In conclusion, the Freeton DV1 and DV2 are just great disposables that work well and deliver an incredible vape. You can’t go wrong with either, but the DV2 Disposable Vape Pod by Freeton is my personal favorite out of the two. With its bigger battery, massive 7 ml e-juice capacity and reuleaux triangle design, it’s hard to beat.
