Jmate P2 PCC Review | Best Juul Accessory?

Jmate is back again with another Juul accessory which can not only charge your device, but allows you to fit multiple pods. One thing Juul users can agree on is that charging it can be a bummer sometimes since it’s a proprietary connection, and can be easy to lose. Jmate P2 First Impressions

Upon first receiving the Jmate P2 PCC, I was quite impressed as the packaging itself does speak some volume. It’s simplistic yet premium looking with its triangular shape. On each side of the box you’ll find some information alongside images of the actual product.

Once you break the seal, and slide open the packaging, you’re immediately met with the P2 Portable Charging Case. My first impression of it was that it just looks superb. Honestly, when they it’s sleek, slim and lightweight, they do mean it. It feels of great quality even though it has a lightweight design.

There’s just something about the grey and black finish that just screams premium quality and a top dollar product, but in reality, the price isn’t near what you’d expect it to be by looking at it. Also, the minimal branding is welcomed as I do hate when there’s a ton of branding on any vape product. This one simply has the Jmate branding on one side, and that’s pretty much it.

Now, when first seeing pictures of the Jmate P2 PCC I was worried about the actual shape of it. I wasn’t sure what to really expect since it is quite cylindrical, and my main worry was that it wouldn’t be pocket friendly. I will say once I had it in my hands, the worries disappeared, but I’ll get more into this specifically later on. One last thing to note is that certain edges, mostly where the slots are, could be a bit smoother. They’re not super sharp by any means, but could be smoother.

So what can I say about my first impressions of the Jmate P2 Portable Charging Case? I was most definitely impressed with it. The quality was outstanding, and reminded me of how impressed I was with their original release. You can see our full thoughts on that in our Jmate PCC Review.

Jmate P2 PCC Daily Usage

Now, a big question with these types of products is how does it hold up with daily use? Before answering that question, let’s just cover some quick facts when you’re using it day to day.

It has an 800mAh battery, which isn’t as large as the previous version, but holds up quite well. Charging it can be done fairly quickly since it supports up to 1A, and there is an LED light indicator that lets you know how much battery is remaining. There are four lights in total, so depending on how much capacity is left will determine how many lights are displayed.

The actual LED lights are quite small, but are kind of bright, so they can be seen pretty easily. Both the LED indicator light and charging port are at the bottom, which some may not like. Personally, that didn’t bother me.

There are two different slots on the Jmate P2, and it clearly shows you which slot is for the Juul, so you know the other is specifically for the pods. I was able to fit three of my favorites, and what I would consider some of the best Juul flavors.

Sliding them in is easy, and it is a pretty snug fit for both. To me, this is a good thing, as you don’t want the pods or device freely moving about or falling out completely.

The Juul does magnetically connect to the charging port as it does with other chargers. When you want to slide it out, you do have to put a slight bit of force. Also, you can take a vape by sliding up just a bit out of the charger as it allows the mouthpiece of the pod to stick out above everything else. The tolerances are great overall, and I was quite impressed with how well everything just snapped into place with zero issues.

Another pretty important question is whether or not the Jmate P2 is pocket friendly. The answer to that question is that it certainly is. I had no issues with it fitting in my pocket or bag. It’s not as wide as the original, so I would say it does fit just a bit better in your pocket when comparing the two.

Overall, I was happy with this Juul accessory when it comes to using it daily. Everything was snug in place, and never once did anything fall out accidentally. It fit in my pocket with ease, and just worked well with no hiccups. Being able to carry 3 different pods plus charge your Juul at the same time all in your pocket is just awesome!

Jmate P2 Performance

When it comes to reviewing the performance of these types of products, there’s only so much to cover, but I will go over some important details, and let you know my experience with it.

Firstly, let’s go over battery life of the P2 by Jmate. This can easily last me an entire week, especially if I’m not using my Juul a lot. If this was my only vape for the entire day, then I’d say I would need to charge it every 2-3 days.

Honestly, it all depends on how much you’re needing to charge your Juul. If you’re vaping a lot throughout the day, then you might need to charge it more often, but even then, it doesn’t take that long to charge the P2. Not to mention, if it needs charging, you can do so pretty much anywhere since it does charge via a micro USB port.

Moving onto charging the Juul. It does have an output of 1A, so it’ll charge your Juul device fairly quickly, within the 30 to 40 minute range if the battery is very low. It does charge it as fast as their original PCC, which was expected.

If you’re constantly having your device inside of the charging case throughout the day, then it’ll always have a charge, so you might not even have to worry about a dead battery. Regardless, it charges the Juul fast enough in my opinion, and does the job with no problems.

When it comes to performance, the Jmate P2 PCC does exactly what you’d expect it to do. It charges you Juul, lasts quite a long time (depending on your actual usage), and holds 3 of your pods. What more can you really ask for?

Best Juul Accessory?

In conclusion, the Jmate P2 PCC is an excellent accessory for any Juul user. It makes carrying your Juul and pods much easier while charging your device. I will say that Jmate did create a better accessory overall when it comes to form factor, ease of use, functionality, and price. When it comes to cons, it was difficult to find any real issues as there simply weren’t any. As mentioned previously before with the edges, they aren’t too bad, but I do think they could smooth it out a bit. However, that doesn’t affect the actual functionality of the charger, and may be a slight annoyance to some vapers at most.

The LED light indicator, and the charging port placement is being picky to be honest, and it is subjective. For something like this, I personally have no issues with them being at the bottom. There are many different pros to be said for this accessory though, and they by far outweigh the cons. It’s built incredibly well, and the overall design is stunning.

All in all, I will say that this is certainly one of the best Juul accessories available today. It can be carried with you virtually anywhere, and it ensures that your Juul is fully charged, and pods are always in reach. It’s an excellent accessory for you vapers who enjoy using the Juul device. Best of all, it’s priced affordably, so you won’t be breaking the bank!
