Glas Basix Series Review
Glas Vapor is well known in the vape industry and have recently released their newest ejuice line, the Basix Series. This e-liquid line consists of 6 different flavors, and each are available in a 60ml Chubby Gorilla Bottle. Something different about what their offering is that each bottle is color coordinated to the flavor, which is a nice touch. The nicotine strengths available are 0mg, 3mg and 6mg. Lastly, each of these flavors are 70VG/30PG blends, which is perfect for both drippers and vape tanks!
Before getting any further into this e-juice review, we’d like to thank Glas Vapor for sending their new line our way for the purposes of this review. We will provide you with our overall thoughts about these flavors and let you know whether or not we recommend them! Remember, taste is subjective, so what we may like you may dislike and what you like we may dislike. We will first go over the specific mods and atomizers used to test each of these flavors and then continue on to the review of Glas Basix Series!

Flavor Review
Strawberry Gummy
Flavor Description: A classic take on strawberry sour belts with a gummy bear twist that will blow your taste buds away. Sweet and sour, or sour and sweet? Either way, your mouth will be watering for more!

Overall Thoughts
Now I’ve tried many sourbelt and gummy bear flavors, but I’ve never really had one that implemented both of these flavor profiles into one, so I was pretty excited to try this one. I will say right away that Strawberry Gummy did not disappoint whatsoever! On the inhale, you get the strawberry sour belt. However, on the exhale is where this flavor really shines, you first get the same strawberry sourbelt, but then right after you taste the mix berries. The mixed berries does indeed taste like gummy bears and I was quite impressed with how they meshed these two flavors together.
All of the flavor notes are candy, so it is on the sweet side, but it’s not overbearingly sweet in my opinion. It’s sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, but not to the point where you’ll get sick of it. This is a really well done candy vape, and is definitely an all day vape. The throat hit is incredibly smooth, and the vapor production is great at 70VG/30PG. This flavor is pretty much just like the description, you get some sweet and sour, and after every vape, you definitely want more!
All in all, Glas Basix Series Strawberry Gummy is a home run! As mentioned before, this is easily an all day vape for us at Vaping Cheap! So if you’re a fan of candy flavors and looking for one that’s different, and tastes great, then Strawberry Gummy is definitely recommended. You won’t be disappointed with this one!
Caribbean Punch
Flavor Description: Like the intoxicating vibe of the islands, it’s the perfect blend of succulent peach, mouthwatering pineapple, sweet strawberry, refreshing apples and a hint of apricot. Truly tropical bliss!

Overall Thoughts
This is another great vape from Glas Basix Series, and pretty complex, but you do taste pretty much everything in the flavor description. On the inhale, you mostly get sweet strawberry and peach. On the exhale, you get the sweet strawberry and peach up front, and as you exhale you get notes of pineapple and fresh apple. At the tail end of the exhale is where you’ll taste the faint hint of apricot.
All of the fruit notes in this e-liquid are fresh and authentic tasting, which is a good thing for this specific flavor for sure. In addition, all of the flavors are noticeable as you inhale and exhale, you don’t really have to look for any flavor notes. However, it still is quite complex as all of these fruit notes are layered. The most dominant flavor notes are definitely the strawberry and peach, but they blend well together.
The entire vape experience is that way really, everything just falls into place with this one as you vape it, if that makes sense. The throat hit is smooth and the vapor production is as you’d expect with a 70VG/30PG blend.
All in all, this is an excellent fruit vape and is considered an all day vape as well. It’s blended incredibly well, and vapes great in both a tank and RDA. If you’re looking for a good tropical fruit vape with various fruit notes, then this is one we certainly recommended.
Fizzy Lemonade
Flavor Description: It’s citrus-y, it’s fizzy and it’s icy cold menthol! Delight in this sweet and refreshing sparkling lemonade poured over lemon-lime shaved ice with a cool, carbonated twist.

Exhale: Menthol lemonade with hints of lemon lime and faint hint of carbonation

Overall Thoughts
I’ll state this right away, if you’re not a fan of flavors with menthol or koolada, then you probably won’t enjoy Fizzy Lemonade. With that being said, I honestly didn’t think I would like this one as I don’t vape menthol flavors often, but I do sometimes vape menthol flavors in pod systems or mouth to lung vape tanks. It just honestly depends on the flavor itself, and how powerful the cooling effect is.
On the inhale, you do get a blast of menthol with lemonade. On the exhale, you do get the same menthol lemonade with hints of lemon lime as you exhale. You do taste somewhat of a carbonation on the end of the exhale, and it’s quite surprising as it does taste like an actual soda. The most dominant flavors in this vape juice are the menthol and lemonade.
The lemonade flavor is rather tasty, and the lemon lime aftertaste is great. After you do vape this flavor for a bit, the menthol does calm down, and you’re able to taste all of the flavors better. The throat hit is smooth as like the others, and the vapor production is good.
Like mentioned in the beginning, if you’re not a fan of menthol or koolada, you won’t enjoy this flavor as you do get a blast of it right as you vape it. However, the lemonade and lemon lime flavors are well done, and taste great. I personally would’ve like this without the menthol, but it’s a good vape regardless. It’s not something I can vape all day, but I’m sure there are vapers out there that’ll enjoy it much more. If you enjoy both menthol and lemonade flavors, and looking for one that has both with a twist, then I can recommend checking out this one.

Blueberry Cake
Flavor Description: Dessert “Best In Show” winner at the 2017 Vaper Expo UK! Warm, velvety layers of rich vanilla cake, sweet buttercream and fresh blueberries, drizzled in a sweet sugar glaze. Have your cake and vape it too!

Overall Thoughts
Seeing as this won Dessert “Best In Show” at the 2017 Vaper Expo UK, this was another flavor I was excited to review. One the inhale, you get fresh blueberries and vanilla. On the exhale, you get the same fresh ripe blueberries and vanilla with background notes of the cake in the flavor description, and cream. The entire exhale does have a creaminess to it, and is what I assume to be the sweet buttercream. This vape is also a bit sweet, but not overly sweet. I expected it to be a bit sweeter honestly with the description mentioning sugar glaze.
I am quite impressed with Glas Basix Series Blueberry Cake, and it’s pretty complex as well. You do taste all of the flavors in the description, which is always a good thing! The blueberry and vanilla notes as the most dominant throughout the vape experience, but you can easily taste the cake and creaminess as you exhale. It is layered incredibly well, and definitely another all day vape. The throat hit is super smooth with no burning or stinging, and the vapor production is solid.
All in all, I can easily see why this was a winner at the 2017 Vaper Expo UK, it’s that good. If you enjoy dessert flavors, then this is one we highly recommend giving a shot!
Sugar Cookie
Flavor Description: Fresh from the oven! You’ll taste warm buttery cookie dough, glazed with golden brown sugar caramel and finished with a cinnamon and nutmeg twist. Don’t forget a glass of milk to wash it down!

Overall Thoughts
This is a pretty good vape overall, and I’ve tried quite a few sugar cookies before. This one is a little different due to its nutmeg twist at the end, but it is a bit heavy on the cinnamon. On the inhale, you get cinnamon and sugar cookie. On the exhale, you get the same cinnamon sugar cookie with background notes of caramel and it ends with a faint hint of nutmeg.
The nutmeg does make for an interesting finish as it does have a little kick to it. It is noticeable, and leaves with a pretty good aftertaste. The cinnamon is definitely the most dominant flavor in this vape followed by the sugar cookie. The golden brown sugar caramel can be tasted in the background as you exhale and does blend quite nicely with the cinnamon and sugar cookie as expected. The throat hit is silky smooth, and the vapor production is great.
Overall, Glas Basix Series Sugar Cookie is another solid flavor. It is a bit heavy on the cinnamon, so if you’re a vaper who dislikes it, then you might not enjoy it. I personally enjoy cinnamon vapes, especially when done right, so I can vape it throughout most of the day without getting tired of it. If you’re looking for a sugar cookie flavor that’s a bit different from others, then we do recommend checking out this flavor from the Glas Basix Series.
Butterscotch Reserve
Flavor Description: This Grand Reserve has extraordinary butterscotch and caramel components, blended with a creamy RY4, for the perfect tobacco flavored, multi-layered experience. The hype is real!

Exhale: Mixture of butterscotch, caramel and RY4 Tobacco
Throat Hit: Smooth
Overall Thoughts
This is a well blended tobacco vape, and I’m actually quite impressed with this one. This is another one I thought I would’ve have liked due to it having tobacco. On the inhale, you get butterscotch and caramel. On the exhale, you get the same mixture of butterscotch and caramel, but there’s the added RY4 tobacco that blends in with it as well.
Throughout the entire exhale, you do taste the butterscotch, caramel and tobacco notes. These three components are blended incredibly well with none overpowering the other. If I had to say which flavor note was most noticeable, it’d probably be the butterscotch, but not by much. At the tail end of the exhale, you do get a full bodied RY4 and left with this as the aftertaste. There is also a slight sweetness to it as well, which does compliment the vape experience for sure. The throat hit is smooth and the vapor production is as you’d expect.
Liked mentioned before, I honestly thought I would’ve have enjoyed this one much, but as I kept vaping it, the more I enjoyed it. This is definitely catered to the vapers who enjoys tobacco, and I must say that I agree with the flavor description, it is a multi-layered experience. If you’re a fan of tobacco flavors, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of Butterscotch Reserve from the Glas Basix Series!
Conclusion
In conclusion, I was quite impressed with each and every flavor from the new Glas Basix Series. Each had it’s own complexity, and just vaped great in both setups used to test these flavors. My personal favorites from this line were Strawberry Gummy, Caribbean Punch and Blueberry Cake. These three were easily considered all day vapes. The most favored out of these three was definitely Strawberry Gummy, it takes two candy flavors and merges them into one to bring you one unique flavor that’s simply delicious.
