Aspire Atlantis 2.0

Aspire Atlantis 2 Tank

New Atlantis V2 Tank by Aspire

It’s been confirmed that Aspire will be releasing the Atlantis 2.0 at the end of March. Aspire says that they have designed and developed the Atlantis 2.0 tank based on user feedback, this includes new replaceable coil heads with resistances as low as 0.3ohms. I hope that they never go lower than 0.3ohm coils for “fill and vape” tanks because anything lower is just too dangerous for the average user. The fact is that many vapers who use these new Sub-Ohm tanks probably do not understand sub-ohm vaping safety. More ultra sub-ohm coils will probably lead to more exploding e-cigarette story’s, like there isn’t enough already.

With the release of the Aspire Atlantis V2 there will be three new replaceable coils each with a different resistance. Here is what Aspire said:

  • 0.3ohm, power with 60-70 watts
  • 0.5ohm power with 20-30 watts
  • 1.0ohm power with 40-50 watts

I also recently receive an e-mail about the Aspire Atlantis 2.0 and here is what it said:

The new features of Atlantis 2.0:

  1. Lower Ohm coil, more vapor!
  2. Significant update on the mouth tip, dual air control system.
  3. Burning mouthpiece problem solved! More vapor with better taste.
  4. Compatible with previous version Atlantis coil.

Not too much information but they say that the 2.0 will be able to use the original Atlantis coils. However this makes me wonder if you will also be able to use the 2.0 coils in the original Atlantis or if there will be some kind of adapter you have to use like on the Kanger Subtank.

There still isn’t much information available on the Aspire Atlantis 2.0 even though it’s scheduled for release at the end of March. They don’t even have a webpage about the Atlantis V2 on Aspires Website.

As more information is released on the new V2 tank I will add it to this page.

I hope that the new coils can be used in the original Atlantis. I’ll buy the V2 if I have to but I’d rather just use the new coils in my current tank. I do love the Aspire Atlantis tho and I use it constantly. In fact, I have many drippers and accesseries that I’d like to sell because Ive not used them since getting my Atlantis.

try the arctic. Iop the atlantis was better than the subtanks and delta two. But this arctic did the same thing to the Atlantis that the atlantis did to my aspire nautilus mini. I couldn’t believe it. Cant wait for the 2.0 tho

      • mastervapor 03/27/2015

I got the artic and I think it sucks compare to my atlantis too be honest and what sucks more is I ordered both the .02 and .05 extra coils Im gonna give it away and wait for the atlantis 2.0

    “0.3ohm, power with 60-70 watts
    0.5ohm power with 20-30 watts
    1.0ohm power with 40-50 watts”

40 watts at 1 ohm? thats kinda crazy

    • Eduardo Melendez 03/31/2015

Marcus and Nathan, you use 40-50 watts on a regulated device at 1 ohm so that you can give it the power that a 1 ohm requires to make significant vapor.

      Yeah 40w at 1 ohm is insane I can’t go above 20 and the .5ohm is harsh at 30 can’t imagine that 1ohm @ 40-50 watt holyshiiiizz

v2 will feature a 2.5 mill capacity all stainless steel design, new coil heads, improved air flow over previous ver. thats all i can say for now.

There also comming out with a mega atlantis thats 5ml 28mm

  • SteveTheSaxGuy 03/31/2015
They have images of it along with other info. Huge drip tip with air control looks pretty interesting. And they also mentioned 100% cotton replacement coils with different resistance options, which is nice. But 3ml of juice capacity? I think they could have stretched it to at least 4ml without too much of a design change. But looks pretty good from what I can see. 🙂

  • mastervapor 04/04/2015

Sorry my mistake the Mega is 30mm 5 ml capacity

  • Rodney Pratt 04/06/2015

    that’s the mega

  • Jonathan 04/07/2015

I received the new cotton coils yesterday and have been using them in my original version 1 Atlantis. The difference is amazing. A million times smoother vape and much tastier. Aspire has found the sweet spot.

The atlantis was my first sub ohm tank when it just came out . I actually pulled it out about a week ago and have been using it with my old Aspire CF SUB OHM. It’s crazy that something from a couple years ago seems “old school” but vape tech changes fast. I have to say I still enjoy them.
